If you are having a hard time losing weight and keeping it off, you're not alone, but we can help! Make yourself a priority and start living a healthier life.
Nearly 70% of Americans are overweight, and nearly 40% of Americans are considered obese.* Obesity has significant effects on our health. The longer an individual is obese, the more at risk they are of developing weight-related conditions such as heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, even certain types of cancer. It also leads to a diminished quality of life and can even lead to an earlier death/decreased life span. But there are ways we can help you with both surgical and non-surgical weight loss options. Contact us today!

Many insurance plans have 3-6 month requirements before weight loss surgery can be approved. Start the process today to have surgery at the start of the new year! With many people still working remote, it makes the pre-op and post-op process easier. Most gastric sleeve patients can work from home 3-5 days after surgery. Now is a great time to take advantage of working from home as you only need a few days off for surgery.
Going the self-pay route? Without any insurance criteria to meet, we can usually accommodate patients for their consult and surgery within 30 days. You can have surgery at the beginning of the year and be a whole new you by summer!
Using Insurance? Get started on your pre-op appointments now, to have surgery this spring. Make all your appointments and check off your insurance requirements now while the kids are in school and you have more time to yourself. You'll be on your way to a new you this summer!
You can get started by scheduling your consultation. When we schedule your appointment we collect your insurance information to verify coverage on your behalf. We will then reach out to you, prior to your appointment, to let you know what to expect. During your consultation, the doctor will help you make the best decision based on your individual needs. Many insurance companies have an average four month process of criteria you need to complete before being approved for surgery. All dietitian and psychologist appointments can be done via Telemedicine and there is no need to miss work!
The Nicholson Clinic accepts most major insurance. In many cases, bariatric surgery is considered a medical necessity and is at least partially covered by most insurance companies, provided the patient meets their requirements. No bariatric coverage? No problem! There are many other routes we can take to save you money.
We offer one of the lowest prices in town and financing with low monthly payments. We are one of the few practices that includes everything in one low price, including your follow-up visits for life! Our pricing is significantly lower than the national average. Our goal is to make weight loss surgery affordable and available to anyone who needs it.
